U.S. Military Using Sonic Weapons is Worse Than You Think

About this video

Max analyzes recent reports of possible directed energy weapons (DEW) use during a 2026 special operations raid in Venezuela, where guards allegedly experienced effects similar to Havana syndrome. He explores the technology behind DEWs, including historical systems like the Boeing YAL-1 airborne laser, modern platforms like the Anduril Fury drone, high-powered microwave systems for drone swarm defense, and DARPA’s role in developing these capabilities. Max attributes the Venezuela accounts and conflict analysis to available reports while explaining how these weapons could revolutionize modern warfare.

Key takeaways

• Max describes how directed energy weapons (lasers and high-powered microwaves) offer cost-effective defense against drone swarms and missiles, costing pennies per shot versus millions for traditional interceptors
• He recounts reported Havana syndrome incidents from 2016 onwards and draws parallels to alleged DEW effects during the Venezuela operation, though emphasizing nothing has been confirmed
• Max explains how modern platforms like the Anduril Fury and naval systems like Helios represent evolution from earlier experimental systems like the YAL-1 airborne laser, with AI integration enabling autonomous targeting
