US NAVY Bombards Houthis!

About this video

Max discusses the U.S. military campaign against Houthi forces in Yemen, which he states has been ongoing for over 32 days at the time of recording. He describes the military assets deployed to the region, including two carrier strike groups with over 90 aircraft each, and argues that Iran has been supplying the Houthis with missiles capable of downing U.S. Reaper drones. Max advocates for what he calls a “surge” strategy to “cut the head off the snake” through sustained airstrikes while avoiding large-scale ground deployments, and he predicts the conflict will continue at high intensity for at least six months.

Key takeaways

• Max reports that the U.S. has two carrier strike groups in the Persian Gulf conducting daily combat missions against Houthi forces, which he describes as the largest such deployment in decades.
• Max argues that Iranian-supplied missiles, specifically the Sacker 358 SA67, have enabled Houthi forces to shoot down U.S. Reaper drones and pose a serious threat to regional navigation.
• Max advocates for a sustained air campaign using fighter jets and drones to destroy Houthi infrastructure while limiting ground troops, comparing the strategy to Thomas Jefferson’s use of naval force against Barbary pirates in 1801.
