From Firebase Cobra to Betrayal: A Green Beret's Unfiltered Truth | Mike Drop 237

About this video

A Green Beret guest recounts his early determination to join special forces, inspired by watching helicopter operations near his childhood home. He describes his first deployment to Firebase Cobra in southern Afghanistan, including a harrowing second firefight where a round bounced off his helmet and plate carrier. The guest reflects critically on the Afghanistan withdrawal, questioning whether 20 years of war was worth it given that, according to him, the Taliban regained terrain and equipment, and alleging that Osama bin Laden could have been captured earlier but operators were told to stand down.
