Mike Glover on Dealing With Loss & Managing PTSD

About this video

Mike Glover discusses losing 16 close friends during his military service and explains how he copes with those losses by honoring their sacrifice rather than letting it burden him. He recounts frustrating experiences that led to his departure from active duty at 18 years, including operational decisions in Libya and Algeria where he claims Americans died after his unit was prevented from conducting rescues. Glover describes his difficult transition to civilian life, his subsequent work with the CIA and as an independent contractor, and how he found structure again through routines like hot yoga and fitness.
