What’s the next Apple, Amazon, 711, and Netflix?

About this video

Shaan shares predictions about what the next generation of major tech companies might look like, imagining how Apple, Amazon, 7-Eleven, and Netflix could evolve beyond their current business models into healthcare monitoring, conversational commerce, automated drone delivery, and AI-generated personalized entertainment.

Key takeaways

• Shaan predicts the next trillion-dollar consumer device company will focus on healthcare monitoring rather than phones, measuring and feeding back data about what’s happening inside your body.
• Shaan envisions next-generation shopping as conversational commerce—voice-activated, hands-free ordering where AI assistants can recommend products based on your preferences, friends’ choices, or crowd wisdom.
• Shaan imagines future convenience retail as automated micro-fulfillment centers under 500 square feet, located within one mile of customers, using small drones for 15-minute deliveries without human involvement.
• Shaan explores two possible futures for entertainment: immersive VR experiences that feel like interactive games, or AI-generated personalized movies created on-demand by remixing and mashaping existing creative elements.
