About this video

NetworkChuck announces he quit his full-time, primary-income job about a month ago to do YouTube full time, saying the job prevented him from creating free courses on his channel. His stated mission is to help viewers get started in IT, stay encouraged, and keep learning. The big news is a partnership with fellow YouTuber David Bombal called ‘This Is IT,’ a joint effort to post full IT certification courses for free on YouTube — he is already building a free CCNA course, releasing one video a week so as not to overwhelm subscribers while he works on other courses. He stresses there is no catch, then pitches a paid membership at thisisit.io to fund the free content. Level 1, ‘10x Engineer,’ gives access to their existing library (including David Bombal’s CCNA, Python and GNS3 training), early ad-free access to all new course and YouTube videos, a forthcoming Discord for support, one exclusive livestream a month with both creators, and a monthly public thank-you for one member on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. Level 2, ‘This Is IT Army,’ adds a name in video credits and on the website, two livestreams a month, and three member shout-outs a month. Exclusive giveaways are promised for both levels.
