NetworkChuck 10 Days of Christmas 2018 - CBT Nuggets | David Bombal | Kevin Wallace (and more!!)

About this video

This is primarily a giveaway announcement for NetworkChuck’s ‘10 Days of Christmas’ event, which he says runs from December 12th through December 21st: each day he posts a video and gives away IT training. The prizes he lists include courses from David Bombal, Chris Bryant, and Kevin Wallace, a one-year subscription to CBT Nuggets, Boson’s NetSim lab simulator for CCNA preparation, and AlphaPrep exam-preparation software that he says uses machine learning. He urges viewers to subscribe and click the notification bell because some days will be time-based, and says CBT Nuggets asked to partner with whoever wins its subscription to check on their progress. He notes that last year’s edition, run with David Bombal, paired the giveaways with videos on topics such as how much network engineers make and whether someone is too old to get into IT or networking, and he suggests sharing the event with someone who needs motivation, since winning free training can be a kick in the pants. He also announces that the channel just reached 50,000 subscribers — 52 thousand as he puts it later in the video — that he and his wife, who have three girls, are expecting their fourth child, that he did an hour-and-a-half interview with Zach from IT Career Questions, and that he has scheduled his CCNP TSHOOT exam for January 15th even though he does not feel prepared.
