5-Minute Tumbler Design HACK with This Free Chrome Extension

About this video

The creator shows how to use the new tumblers feature in the Productor for Merch by Amazon Chrome extension to create a double-sided tumbler design in the Amazon Merch by Amazon backend. After uploading a design, he demonstrates the scale-and-duplicate controls: hitting duplicate at 25% places a small copy, and repeating at 50%, 75% and 100% enlarges the design on each side of the tumbler. At 100% he finds the design sits too close to the red guide lines, so he settles on 95% and duplicates there. The extension also offers duplicate-and-download, which saves the finished image as a PNG that can be re-uploaded. He adds a troubleshooting tip: upload the design using the control at the top, because uploading directly into the other spot sometimes causes a glitch for him. He says the extension is free, points users with issues to Productor’s public Facebook group for support, mentions a $50 giveaway linked in the description and pinned comment, and promotes his Top Research Design Vault, which he says contains 460-plus niches and should pass 500 by the end of the month, while reminding viewers to double-check trademarks and copyrights themselves.

Key takeaways

• Productor’s tumblers feature duplicates a design onto both sides of a Merch by Amazon tumbler at a chosen scale — 25%, 50%, 75% or a custom percentage
• The creator prefers 95% scale because 100% put the design too close to the red guide lines
• Duplicate-and-download saves the finished double-sided image as a PNG for reuse
• Upload the design via the top upload control; uploading directly into the other spot sometimes glitched for the creator
• The extension is free, support is offered via Productor’s public Facebook group, and the creator still advises double-checking every design for trademark and copyright issues
