5 Ways to Make Money with Google’s Nano Banana AI (Gemini 2.5 Flash Image)

About this video

RJ Martinez outlines five ways to make money with Google’s Nano Banana (Gemini 2.5 Flash Image in AI Studio). First, print-on-demand designs: he prompts a flamingo golf design, iterates it (e.g. changing the hat to yellow and the text to variants like ’talk birdie to me’), notes the tool outputs JPEG, then uses Kittl to remove the background, upscale, vectorize and size it for Merch by Amazon, for sale on Merch by Amazon, Etsy, Redbubble, TeePublic or his own site. He points to a Halloween pumpkin/iced-coffee design as an example he estimates is selling heavily based on its BSR. Second, sell digital mockup bundles on Etsy, creating realistic t-shirt, tumbler and coffee-mug mockups with Nano Banana; he uses EverBee to check examples, citing one listing with 133 sales in the last month. Third, personalized 3D Pixar-style cartoon portraits on Etsy, charging by number of characters; when Nano Banana struggled with his own family photo, he used ChatGPT instead. Fourth, freelance graphic design/editing on Fiverr, using Nano Banana for fast text and color changes; he cites a seller charging $15 basic, $50 standard and $90 premium, so 10 orders would be $150 to $900. Fifth, YouTube thumbnails as a service and Facebook monetization, posting AI-generated quote/text images, which he says he is still testing.

Key takeaways

• Use Nano Banana in Google AI Studio to generate a design, then use Kittl to remove the background, upscale/vectorize it and export it at the correct print-on-demand dimensions before uploading.
• A single design concept can be reused across t-shirts, mugs, tote bags, books and digital downloads, and sold on Merch by Amazon, Etsy, Redbubble, TeePublic or your own site.
• Realistic AI mockups themselves are a product: bundle t-shirt, tumbler and mug mockups as digital downloads on Etsy, and validate demand with EverBee sales data before building a bundle.
• Personalized Pixar-style family portraits are sold on Etsy priced by character count, with upsell potential to canvas or printed products; if Nano Banana struggles with a photo, try ChatGPT for the conversion.
• Offer fast AI-assisted edits (text, hat color, design variants) and YouTube thumbnails as Fiverr services, and test Facebook monetization by posting AI quote images at volume.
