Merch By Amazon Terms Of Service TOS - (Human Tragedy Account Terminated)

About this video

The creator warns Merch by Amazon sellers not to make designs tied to a recent tragedy in Boulder, Colorado. He says Amazon’s content policy prohibits content related to human tragedies or natural disasters, and violating it can get an account suspended or terminated. He shows examples he says will cause trouble, including designs reading ‘Boulder Strong,’ ‘Live Love Colorado,’ and ‘Colorado Strong,’ arguing the only reason such a topic is trending and being turned into designs is the tragedy itself. He advises against trying to work around the rule in a grey area. His prevention method is research before designing: if a topic is trending, do a Google search to learn why, check the news articles on the front page, and if someone is being hurt, do not design for it or make products for it. He frames this as protecting a long-term, profitable Merch by Amazon business rather than chasing a short-term trend.
