How I Made Millions with a One-Person Business on Amazon Using AI

About this video

Sean presents Amazon KDP digital publishing as his one-person business alternative to freelancing, coaching, consulting or agencies, which he calls time-for-money jobs with no leverage. He claims he built a $2.2 million business with no employees and no physical products, and cites student claims including $40 on a first book’s first day, $161,000 in a first year, and $1 million lifetime in about 3 years — presented as his/students’ results, with royalties described as money paid to the bank. Amazon provides traffic, payments, printing/shipping and customer service. His process: find a topic already selling (as a guideline, below 80,000 BSR is good, roughly $500/month at 80,000 by his estimate; he uses BookBeam to check earnings such as decluttering books making $19-$1,500/day), outline it, write with AI — edited/humanised, not used 100% raw — or a ghostwriter, get a cover (Canva free, or Fiverr designers for about $10-$25), publish free on KDP, get reviews to rank, and repeat so books compound like rental properties. Pen names are allowed for anonymity.

Key takeaways

• Creator’s claim: $2.2 million made solo on KDP with no employees or physical products
• Pick topics already selling on Amazon rather than guessing; below 80,000 BSR is Sean’s guideline for viable demand
• Use AI to collapse research, outlining and drafting time, but edit and humanise the output
• Each book is framed as a compounding digital asset; income stacks as you publish more titles
• Hire a professional cover designer on Fiverr (~$10-$25 in his examples) rather than relying on free Canva templates
