NEW Amazon KDP Niche with NO Competition - Shaped Word Search Tutorial

About this video

Sean Dollwet presents shaped word search books as a low-competition KDP niche, saying a search returns only about 2,000 results versus far more for standard word search. He cites creator-reported examples earning, by his estimates, around $23/day ($600/month), $9/day ($270/month) for a state-shaped book with few reviews, and $49/day (~$1,500/month). The tutorial uses Book Bolt: finding ideas via its Cloud research feature sorted by top activity books, then creating in Book Bolt Studio at 8.5 x 11 in, black-and-white, with bleed. He demonstrates shaped templates (house, robot, clover, arrow), grid and word-count settings, custom outlines, uploading themed word lists via CSV, placing four solutions per page, adding illustrations from Pixabay/Unsplash, and building a cover in the same project before downloading in CMYK for KDP upload.

Key takeaways

• Shaped word searches put the puzzle inside an image outline (e.g., bear, house, state) instead of a plain square grid
• Creator claims the niche has about 2,000 Amazon results and some titles earn hundreds to ~$1,500/month despite few reviews
• Book Bolt Studio can generate shaped puzzles, solutions, and covers in one project at 8.5 x 11 in
• Use themed CSV word lists (single column, max 20 characters, blank rows between puzzles) so words match each shape
• Place four solutions per page after the puzzles and add illustrations/banners to make pages look presentable
