Early Life Dan Lok was born in Hong Kong in 1981. He moved to Vancouver, Canada with his mother at the age of 14. His parents divorced when he was 16, which led to a significant change in his life.

Education Dan studied at Douglas College in British Columbia, but he dropped out of college to pursue his entrepreneurial dreams.
